2013

Started on a high.  We had successfully obtained a grant of £2,000 from our local councillor to help purchase new IT equipment and information boards.  Finding a place in the yard for a privately owned 62’ long RAF high-speed launch (HSL) became a major job.  It arrived in March amidst much media coverage, and proved to be an interesting attraction for visitors on Hooton Park open days.  The Griffin Gathering was a success and The Bedford Enthusiasts Club was born from it.

The Morris Commercial Club celebrated their 100th anniversary, holding their AGM at GT.  Several other local groups also visited the site on organised tours.
