2001

The Griffin Trust embarked on preserving and restoring the Motor Transport Sheds.  The first stage MT1 was completed in three years. Which included all new roofs and truss woodwork.  Some events staged over the next three years but lack of space ended them.  The classic Lancia and Ferrari returned to their owners but in its place was a horse drawn tram that needed a home for a while from the Birkenhead Transport Museum. Planning application for three roller shutter doors to be installed was granted in stages by the Council giving security to the exhibits and equipment.
